Rehabilitation Consultancy
Mrs E worked at a marketing firm undertaking desk related work. She developed neck pain and had been off work for in excess of 6 weeks.
WorkStrong were requested to undertake a rehabilitation consultation. This involved both a clinical and workplace assessment with a chartered physiotherapist.
The Occupational Helath Physiotherapist made 3 types of recommendation in order to facilitate Mrs E’s efficient return to work:
Treatment Four Physiotherapy treatment sessions
Ergonomic Corrected DSE positioning & sitting posture
Self management Regular exercises program
Return to work program Graduated RtW program
The results of this intervention were that Mrs E returned to work prior to the end of her sick note and made a 100% reintegration back into her working environment.
